The 68th National Heifer Sale will be held on June 26. The annual sale features the best of the breed for heifers and is the largest contributor to the National Jersey Youth Development programs
Wednesday, June 25 – Saturday, June 28, 2025
Headquarters: Embassy Suites – UK Coldstream
The annual meetings provide industry and association updates for the year and offer networking opportunities to Jersey breeders with their peers and allied industry friends. The meetings also recognize the top national award winners for the Jersey breed through leadership, achievements, and production levels.
The AJCA-NAJ Annual Meetings are not just for adult members but for the youth as well. The youth will be able to visit Keightley & Core Jerseys and see the Registered Jersey cattle of a Master Breeder herd. While there, they will engage in a pedigree workshop to learn more about reading a Jersey pedigree and what each section means. They will also get to judge some of the show-winning cattle of the Core herd in a judging workshop to help them hone their selection skills in picking cattle. The “Give Your Best 60-second intro” speaking contest will also be held with awards for all participating. The top nine youth will receive cash prizes. In addition, they will visit Malibu Jack’s fun park for an evening event and also have a game night with The Dairy Alliance crew. The association will also hold the first Jersey Youth Academy Benefit Auction on Saturday to raise funds for the dairy industry’s greatest youth programs.
